During the late 1990's and early 2000's Ray formed the Ray Cooney Comedy Company and did several Spring P&O Cruises. During this time the Cruises included Antarctica, the Panama Canal, Australia, Mexico, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and, of course Southampton.

 

Ray gathered together all the chums he'd appeared with in his plays (Run for your Wife, Caught in the Net, out of Order, It runs in the Family, Funny Money) and Ray says 'Each trip was just like a fantastic holiday with a terrific audience every performance. Each production was as perfect as the West End" The cast of chums included his wife Linda, Wanda Ventham, Timothy Carlton Belinda Carroll, Michael Cochrane, Eric Carte, Liz Edmiston, Philip York, Jan Waters, Ray Lonnen, Tara Ward, Nick Wilton, Lynette McMorrough, Jeffery Holland, Judy Buxton, William Gaunt, Carolyn Lister, Trevor Bannister, Phillip Maggs, Michael wade and the Doyen of Cooney Comedy, Henry McGee.
